With the holiday season quickly approaching, AllThingsD has reported that Apple will be holding a special event on October 22nd. Even without an official announcement its heavily speculated that the event will be focused on updates to the iPad and iPad mini. We’re also anticipating the release of OSX Mavericks and a refresh to the Mac Pro to line up with the recently refreshed MacBook Airs and iMacs.
Due to recent leaks we have a good idea what the shell of the revamped iPad will look like. The New iPad will most likely be taking design cues from the iPad mini and adopting a slimmer bezel with a thinner, more compact design. But what everyone is really focused on is whether the iPad mini will have a retina display. There have not been any leaks regarding the resolution of the iPad mini display but with competitors all featuring high-resolution displays we wouldn’t be shocked if Apple did include it.
Unfortunately it seems that there could be manufacturing issues, which may make the iPad mini sparse at launch. Stay up to date with Apple’s fall coverage by following us and make sure to check out our iPad and iPad mini products while we wait for October 22nd!
